The Taylor County History Center is the perfect venue for family reunions, birthday parties, engagement photos, church picnics, and much more!

You can rent the picnic area, cook shack and playground for your party or picnic!  The Courthouse and the entire grounds can also be rented for your event, as well.  Click HERE for the rental form.

This Day in Texas History

  • 1918 On this day in 1918, J. Marvin Leonard, "Mr. Marvin," opened his first store in Fort Worth. Leonard was born in 1895 near Linden, Texas.
