Annual Membership Levels

Founder – $1,000 – Standard benefits for ten people, ten guest passes, 20% off all facility rentals (minimum two night stay in Reddell Guest House, additional guest passes at $2.00 off, Free admission to 750+ cultural institutions (NARM), recognition on History Center website (optional), use of site for photography (rental fee waived), behind-the-scenes tour with Site Curator (must schedule in advance), personalized tour with Site Historian (must schedule in advance).

Trail Blazer – $500 – Standard benefits for eight people, six guest passes, 20% off all facility rentals (minimum two night stay in Reddell Guest House, additional guest passes at $1.00 off, Free admission to 750+ cultural institutions (NARM), recognition on History Center website (optional), use of site for photography (rental fee waived), behind-the-scenes tour with Site Curator (must schedule in advance).

Settler – $250  – Standard benefits for four people, four guest passes, 20% off all facility rentals (minimum two night stay in Reddell Guest House, additional guest passes at $1.00 off, Free admission to 750+ cultural institutions (NARM), recognition on History Center website (optional).

Homestead – $125 – Standard benefits for individual household consisting of two adults and children 18 years and under,  two guest passes, 10% off Reddell House rental, and free admission to 750+ cultural institutions (NARM).

Pioneer Family – $75- Standard benefits for individual household consisting of two adults and children 18 years and under and  10% off Reddell Guest House rental.

Scout – $45 -Standard benefits for one or two people

As a member of the Taylor County History Center, you’ll receive free admission to the site, discounts in the gift shop, and free or reduced admission to other museums in the area!  If you join at our Homestead level or higher, you’ll automatically be enrolled in the North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM) program, which grants you free admission to 750+ museums in North America!  For a full list of museums included in NARM, visit: https://narmassociation.org/

This Day in Texas History

  • 1837 Pinckney C. Caldwell was awarded 960 acres of land for his service in the Texas Revolution. He was a defender of the Gonzales cannon.
