The Reddell House

Spend a weekend in Buffalo Gap!

R11
The 1879 Reddell House is the oldest house in Taylor County still in its original location.  Originally referred to as the Boone House, the structure earned its new name when renovation crews discovered a postcard lodged behind the fireplace mantle revealing that the original family to live in the house were the Reddells.

Enjoy the cozy ambiance of the original building, with its wood floors, high ceilings, old-style furnishings, and narrow staircase — combined with 21st century amenities including WiFi, Netflix, washer & dryer, and full kitchen, stocked with breakfast items.

Guests have rented the house for weekend get-a-ways, holiday dinners, bachlorette parties, wedding receptions, and lodging for out-of-town family and friends.

Rates for the Reddell House are $300 per night. This history home sleeps eight adults. To hold a reservation, we request one night’s fee ($300). To reserve your weekend getaway in peaceful Buffalo Gap, call 325-572-3365.
