Plan to have your wedding at the Buffalo Gap Chapel

Planning your special day and looking for a rustic, historic venue?

The Buffalo Gap Chapel is the perfect backdrop for your perfect day!

Brides love to host their family and friends at the Taylor County History Center for their wedding day.  With the historic buildings and West Texas atmosphere, the village is the perfect venue.   The frontier buildings provide an idyllic backdrop for wedding photos and the Buffalo Gap Chapel serves as a rustic and charming setting for your nuptials.   Many brides travel from miles away to have their wedding in this special place. They also often rent the Reddell House for a girls’ night before the wedding or book it for a romantic evening for the newlyweds after the ceremony…or both!

Visit the History Center or make an appointment to tour the Chapel and the guest house with our Guest Services Manager today!  For more information on rental policies and prices, view our Rental Form.
