Exploration (Self-Guided Tour) $2.00 Per Student Great for small groups, or groups with lots of chaperones!
One Program $2.00 Per Student
Two Programs $3.00 Per Student
Three Programs $4.00 Per Student For each additional program, add $1 per student.
Teachers and Chaperones FREE We ask for a 5:1 ratio (student to adult)
Additional Adults $3.00 Per Adult Any adults attending that exceed the 5:1 ratio (student to adult)

Wrap up your frontier experience by taking a piece of history home with you!  You and your students can explore our gift shop and discover treasures!

 

History Center offers “Loot Bags” for  your students.  For $2.50 per student, we will provide each child with their own souvenir bag of memories from their trip.  Teachers receive a special gift free with each Loot Bag order.  Ask for an order form when you call about your field trip.

The Frontier teaches you everything from History to Math!

We recommend planning at least 2 hours to visit the Taylor County History Center with your class.  If you’re planning to participate in 3 or more programs, you’ll definitely want to pack a lunch and plan to spend 3-4 hours with us.  We schedule school groups between the hours of 9am-3pm, but we are willing to work with your unique schedule if needed.  To help create a rewarding experience, the Taylor County History Center limits the number of students booked each day. Most schools book their trips in October and November, or April and May, so you’ll want to call and secure your date as soon as you can!
